You’re Still the System

Your business works.
But it still depends on you for basically everything.

So I recorded something for you.

It’s a short private audio about a stage I see a lot of founders in. From the outside, everything looks fine. Clients are happy, money is coming in, and nothing is really falling apart. But behind the scenes, you’re still involved in almost everything and most things still end up routing back to you.

You’re the one people check with before they move forward. You’re the one holding context for what’s happening across the business. Even when you have help, you’re still the person making sure everything connects and keeps moving.

That doesn’t mean you’re doing anything wrong. Most businesses just grow this way. They get built around the founder in the early stages and then never really get redesigned as they mature, so even when things are stable, they still rely heavily on you to function.
